RYAN BRAUN VISITS KMHS!!!! Sophomore, Ava Shaikh, coordinated the event and both Ryan Braun and Christian Yelich donated signed jerseys for display at the high school. Omar Shaikh, Ava's father, also attended the event. Braun played 14 seasons for the Brewers, his entire MLB career. He was honored with an MVP award, Rookie of the Year, five Silver Slugger awards, played in six All-Star Games, and received seven MLB year-end awards, more than any player in franchise history. More importantly, he is an incredibly warm and generous person, taking time to pose for pictures with students and staff, signing autographs, and sharing his time! Thank you to Ava, Omar, Ryan, and Christian for your thoughtful gesture.

You took such good care of us with yummy meals, festive decor, and smiles every time. The thought to detail was clear. It is so much easier to do our job w/encouragement & support from the community and parents. ” -Abby K. "I don't know of another district with as supportive a parent group as KMSD. The small, and large gestures remind me how great this community is and how we are ALL working together to help raise and educate the next generation. Thank you!!" -Cindy M. “Thank you so much for the little treats and special lunch days you've provided this year! The little snacks or lunches are perfect reminders that parents and teachers are working together. Thank you!” -Mike W. “Thank you so much from the custodial group. We do our work behind the scenes, and it's very nice to be included in all the treats.” -Bruce O. “Parents, Thank you for all the treats, gifts, and meals you have provided us throughout the year. Bottomless cups of coffee? Thank you for all the meals, treats, drinks, and gifts. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and support are appreciated (one of the 1st things I tell people when they ask about my new job is the Parent Hospitality Group is wonderful).
