A group of HS^2 students presented today at Wales Elementary Campus Science Day, giving the Elementary students some exposure to Physics and Chemistry! In the Physics sessions students looked at how light behaves by completing mirror mazes, making UV bead bracelets, making kaleidoscopes, and looking at optical illusions. The Chemistry sessions were a little bit messier focusing on reactions while making slime!

Today, two HS^2 teams competed in the 2025 Wisconsin Dairyland Programming Competition held by the Marquette University Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) student group. The students spent three hours programming in response to problems presented to them that focused on logic, mathematics, and creativity.
